He's sold millions of records around the world, and is largely regarded as one of the most commercially successful musicians on the planet.
But Sir Paul McCartney looked just like any other proud father as he assumed a coveted front row seat at his daughter Stella McCartney's Paris Fashion Week show at the French capital's Palais Garnier on Monday morning.
Joining the great and good of the style set at the unveiling of the British designer's spring/summer 2014 collection, the former Beatles rocker sat next to his wife Nancy Shevell as they watched the likes of catwalk queens Cara Delevingne and Miranda Kerr well and truly rock the runway.

Sir Paul proved himself to be quite the darling of the fashion crowd, greeting former Bond girl Barbara Bach - who is the wife of his friend and fellow former Beatle Ringo Starr - with a kiss and embracing designer Mario Testino as they took up their seats on the front row.
It was a real family affair for the Stella McCartney Paris Fashion Week show, with the designer's brother James also bagging a front-row seat.

Joining the McCartneys for the best view in the house were the likes of Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri and Hollywood actress Salma Hayek, who looked nothing short of immaculate as she made her way inside the show alongside her French businessman husband Francois-Henri Pinault.
The stunning star looked the absolute epitome of Parisian chic in a stylish white dress, featuring an embellished Peter Pan collar and a nude skater skirt, which emphasised her slim waist.
